I was surprised to find that many of Dan’s questions were ones that I had been struggling with for years.

One of the most common questions I get is whether or not you should put yourself on death row. This is one of the most obvious ones because it is so obvious. Every single person on earth who has committed the crime of committing a violent crime is on death row. But why? Why? Because it feels right. In fact, if you want to be on death row, you should.
The obvious answer to this question is, “How do you do it?” I don’t think it’s a good idea to put yourself on death row.
I’ve never put myself on death row. I think it’s a bad idea because the only way to be in a position to be on death row is if you commit a violent crime. If you commit a violent crime, you’re either on death row or you’re not. Either way, you’re both guilty and you both deserve to die.
Yeah, if you want to get on death row, you need to commit a violent crime. Because you can’t just say, “I didnt do that.” The only way to be on death row is if you commit a violent crime.
The main reason I’m on death row is because some people don’t want to see me on death row. Sometimes I see people who don’t have any idea how to die on the other side. These days people don’t even see me. Or they see some stupid thing called life-style murder on death row. When I was on death row, I saw someone who was telling me to kill someone on the other side.
Nowadays, however, we can’t just say, I didn’t do it. We actually have to put it in writing. Dan Rather has been on death row for a while.
